Here’s a pic of a basket that I made… 
It’s the same basket from this How To, but instead of normal paper, I cut two sheets into strips and wove them together to make a square mat. Then I used that woven mat to make this basket… I like how it turned out… but geez, it was a lot of work!
Here’s a teaser of some of the things I’ll be showing how to make in the first livecast coming up this weekend… more specifics coming soon.

I made three flower pots. One for my “real” mom. One for the mom that supports me. And one for my friend’s mom. I also added 3D hearts as the “soil” and a heart with a pocket to hold the messages… I didn’t use pipe cleaners because i can’t find them in any of the local stores around my place! I use barbecue skewers and wrap them with green paper. And i use glue gun for security!!

Charmaine, these look wonderful! I think it’s great that you made 3 of these for all your “moms.” Spread the love! Good show of creativity by using the BBQ skewers. Adding the heart with pocket was an excellent idea… nice way to personalize each gift. Thanks for sharing. I’m sure your mom’s will be blown away.
